Margaret Thatcher 'would not give in', says Sir Eric Howells
Margaret Thatcher was a leader who was "prepared to stand up for what she believed in", said former Welsh Conservative chairman Sir Eric Howells.
"She did not change her mind, she wasn't a person to make u-turns as she said herself. She thought hard and strong about something, she decided that's the way forward and she would not give in," he said.
Sir Eric said she could respect an opinion and was prepared to listen.
