Keyhole surgery for racehorses pioneered by vet Richard Coomer

Wales is leading the world with a treatment that could greatly improve the lives of injured racehorses.

A vet near Narberth, Pembrokeshire, has pioneered a technique to help with a painful back condition.

After trialling the keyhole surgery Richard Coomer has had such a high success rate he is now training colleagues all over the world.
