Cwmdonkin Park £1.4m revamp nears completion
A major revamp of the park where Dylan Thomas played as a boy and which inspired some of the writer's best loved stories and poems, is reaching the final stages.
The £1.4m restoration of Cwmdonkin Park in Swansea started last summer and is due to be completed this autumn, ahead of the Dylan Thomas centenary celebrations planned for next year.
Opened in 1874, it's one of the oldest municipal parks in Wales.
