NHS 111 non-emergency helpline for Wales set to progress

Plans to bring in a new NHS phone line for urgent but non-emergency care will go ahead, despite problems with the service in England.

The 111 line would replace the current NHS Direct service and it is hoped pressure will be eased on A&E departments.

But some doctors' leaders have raised concerns.
