Three Castles Welsh Classic Trial around historic sites

Around 80 vintage cars are to set off from Llandudno for the first stages of a car rally with a difference.

The Three Castles Welsh Classic Trial is for vintage cars, some of which are more than 70 years old.

Over the next few days drivers will tackle the mountains of Snowdonia and the twisting coastal road of the Great Orme headland, as well as passing a few of the area's historic castles.

But it is not all about speed as Chris Dearden found out when he went to see the cars being given their final checks.
