Swansea pupils' tablet computer use boosts reading age

Using tablet computers in classrooms could transform the way children are taught, according to the Education Minister Leighton Andrews.

The Life Plan calls for every child in Year 6, the final year at junior school, to have a tablet computer around which the curriculum is based.

Mr Andrews said he wants everyone involved with education in Wales to see how it has benefitted children at Casllwchwr Primary in Swansea where pupils' reading ages have increased several years
