Students spend £1bn a year, says Higher Education Wales

BBC Wales is asking "what's Wales worth?" and trying to find out more about our economy.

New research commissioned by Higher Education Wales shows that universities create £3.6bn every year in the Welsh economy - about 3% of GDP in Wales. It is claimed £1bn of that is contributed by students.
