Numeracy: Pupils in Wales struggle with basic maths, says Estyn

Around half of all children in Wales are struggling with basic maths, according to a report by the schools' watchdog, Estyn.

It found that many pupils, between seven and 14, have difficulty with simple sums like fractions, decimals and percentages and have to rely on a calculator.
