'Super prison' plan welcomed by north Wales police and crime commissioner

Plans for a £250m super prison in north Wales has been welcomed by Winston Roddick the police and crime commissioner for the region.

He says the prison will be good for Wrexham and will answer a need for such a facility for prisoners and their families in north Wales.

The Ministry of Justice says the development will create 1,000 jobs.

Mr Roddick spoke to Lucy Owen on BBC Wales Today.
