GPs have duty of care says health minister

GPs have a duty of care to individuals who need assistance to appeal against benefit cuts says health minister.

Rhondda AM Leighton Andrews had asked Mark Drakeford whether he agreed with Bro Taf local medical committee's advice to GP's to stop writing letters for patients to appeal against such decisions.

The matter was brought up during a meeting of the health and social care committee at the Senedd.
