Royal baby: Anglesey RNLI team send congratulations

Alf Pritchard from Trearddur Bay RNLI station has sent the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge congratulations on their son's birth.

The station has a personal connection to the royal couple, as they named its new lifeboat back in 2011 on what was the duchess's first official engagement after her engagement to Prince William.

He told BBC Wales the pair made "a lot of friends on that day" for the time they spent and the interest they showed in the bay.

They couple have lived on Anglesey for three years following the duke's posting to RAF Valley as a search and rescue helicopter pilot.
