New grandfather Prince Charles at Royal Welsh Show

A cry of "congratulations granddad" raised a laugh from the Prince of Wales as he and the Duchess of Cornwall visited the Royal Welsh Show in Powys.

The woman, wearing wearing a pair of Union flags in her hair, was one of many to offer her congratulations to the prince, just two days after his first grandson was born.

He and Camilla met the new arrival with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Tuesday.

The royal visitors were greeted at the Llanelwedd showground with applause and cheers on Wednesday morning.

At the start of a speech to the prince's Countryside Fund, Prince Charles said: "For me, it's particularly special to be here at the Royal Welsh.
