Anglesey's new AM on island's 'brighter future'

The new assembly member for Anglesey says his by-election win was down to Plaid Cymru's ideas for a "brighter future" for the island.

Former journalist Rhun ap Iorwerth is celebrating an emphatic victory in the by-election to choose a new assembly member for Anglesey.

He secured a 9,166 majority over Labour, who were pushed hard by UKIP in third place.

He told the BBC's Welsh Affairs Editor Vaughan Roderick what he hopes to achieve as a politician.
