BBC Wales new headquarters should 'move out of Cardiff'

BBC Wales is planning to relocate to a new broadcasting centre after nearly 50 years in Cardiff.

There is no intention to move cities, rather options are being looked at elsewhere in the Welsh capital.

But there are some politicians who would like it to make a more radical move out of Cardiff altogether - among them is the Labour MP for Ogmore, Huw Irranca-Davies.

But Dr John Jewell from Cardiff School of Journalism says BBC Wales' headquarters should remain in Cardiff.

They spoke to Vaughan Roderick on BBC Radio Wales' Sunday Supplement programme.
