Airbus in Broughton reveals first 100 bursaries

The first 100 bursaries to help meet the demand for engineers in the aerospace industry have been announced at the Airbus plant in Broughton in Flintshire.

The programme which is jointly funded by the UK government and industry will recruit 500 people in total in an investment worth £6m.

Airbus says only by training the best people can they stay at the forefront of global aviation.
