April Jones remembered with Eddie Stobart lorry naming

A lorry has been named in honour of five-year-old April Jones in her home town.

The Eddie Stobart haulage company, which gives all its cabs female names, named its latest vehicle April in memory of the girl who was abducted and murdered in Machynlleth, Powys last October.

The idea came from Kevin and Jenny Clarke, from Ford near Shrewsbury, who came to know April's parents Coral and Paul Jones when they joined the search for their daughter.

Mr and Mrs Clarke were at the unveiling of the lorry - which also features a pink ribbon - and explained how the idea came about.
