Pontfadog Oak to become art, jewellery and ornaments

One of the oldest trees in Europe, which was blown down in a storm in April 2013, is to be turned into art, jewellery and ornaments.

The Pontfadog Oak near Chirk, Wrexham, was said to be 1,200 years old when it toppled onto a house.

Legend says the tree was a meeting point for a medieval Welsh prince.
