Rhondda Cynon Taf planned nursery cuts plan sparks protest

Angry parents have been protesting against proposed cuts to nursery services in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The council there wants to withdraw full-time nursery places for three year olds.

Instead, children would start full school days after they turn four - as in many other council areas.

It comes as all 22 Welsh local authorities grapple with how to balance the books after their budgets for next year were cut.

Daniel Davies reports.
