Peer-to-peer loans: Investors urged to lend to small firms

As companies still struggle to access credit from banks, firms in Wales are being encouraged to lend money directly to each other.

One of the UK's biggest so-called "peer-to-peer" lending companies says the Welsh government and councils could use the service to invest in small businesses.

It follows a £20m scheme by the UK government to bypass banks and get money directly to firms.
