Neonatal centre location 'by March'

First Minister Carwyn Jones says the decision on a new neonatal centre for north Wales will be made by March.

He was speaking following his decision on Monday to overturn a move to transfer specialist care for some of the sickest and most premature babies in north Wales to England.

Mr Jones told BBC Radio Wales he would make the final judgement on the site of the new unit following a review by an independent panel.

He said he had based Monday's move on medical advice and it had not been a "political move".

Mr Jones was speaking to Oliver Hides.
