National parks visitors spend £1bn according to report

National parks in Wales generate more money than farming, forestry, fishing and mining put together.

That is the finding of a report commissioned by the three national parks in Wales.

The research reveals that 12 million people visit the Pembrokeshire coast, Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia each year, bringing in £1bn worth of spending.
