Storms cause damage and disruption in Wales

High winds and heavy rain are causing problems in parts of Wales, with forecasters warning of gales of up to 80mph.

The bad weather brought tricky driving conditions, fallen trees and cancelled trains.

The Met Office has upgraded a rain alert in place for much of south, south west and mid Wales.

Fifteen flood alerts are already in force, including for the Anglesey and Cardigan Bay coast.
