Aberystwyth storm clear up begins but worst not over

High seas brought more disruption to parts of Wales overnight.

Around a hundred people, who spent the night at rest centres in Aberystwyth and Borth fearing risk from the high tide, are returning to their homes to assess the damage.

Debris caused by waves thrashing the sea wall in Aberystwyth litters the promenade, but widespread flooding was avoided.
