Wales storms: 'Public better prepared than ever'

As storms continue to batter the country, the public has never been bettered prepared for flooding, Wales' environment body has said.

Andy Wall, flood forecasting manager at Natural Resources Wales, said £20m had been invested since 2006 in coastal flood defence schemes and forecasters are able to inform the public of storms days in advance.

A review of coastal flood defences and the impact of the recent storms has been ordered by the Welsh government.

Mr Wall spoke to Oliver Hides on BBC Radio Wales.
