StepChange Debt Charity urges people in debt urged to get help

A leading charity has appealed people who are in debt to get help before the problem spirals.

The StepChange Debt Charity has seen the number of people falling into arrears on their household bills is growing year on year in Wales.

According to the research, the number of loans and the amount owned has increased.

Mike O'Connor, CEO of the charity, warned turning to pay day loan companies could have "potentially catastrophic results".
