Dafydd Elis-Thomas sacking 'entirely appropriate'
It was "entirely appropriate" for Leanne Wood to sack Dafydd Elis-Thomas as the chair of an assembly committee for criticising her attack on UKIP.
Plaid Cymru's chairman Dafydd Trystan Davies said the party "needs to be disciplined in order to present" a "progressive, positive agenda".
Speaking to the BBC's Sunday Politics Wales, he defended a decision to dismiss the veteran politician.
Lord Elis-Thomas was Plaid transport spokesman and chair of the Welsh assembly's environment committee.
BBC Sunday Politics Wales presenter Daniel Davies spoke to the party chair.
