Crews battle six-mile grass fire near Pontsticill Reservoir
More than 20 firefighters are tackling a huge grass blaze stretching up to six miles (10km) near Merthyr Tydfil.
The fire has been burning for several hours and is being driven by high winds, said South Wales Fire and Rescue.
The alarm was raised just before 10:40 GMT, and crews from Merthyr, Aberdare and Tonypandy are at the scene.
The fire service said a plan to contain the blaze was being put in place with Natural Resources Wales.
Station manager Matt Jones told BBC Wales what he and the crews were dealing with.
