Ed Miliband says he is 'not getting into' Clwyd NHS debate

Labour leader Ed Miliband says he is "not going to get into" the debate between First Minister Carwyn Jones and Ann Clwyd over her criticism of the way her late husband was cared for in hospital in Wales.

The Cynon Valley MP has been critical of the Welsh NHS since the death of her husband at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff in 2012.

She also says she has received hundreds of letters from patients expressing concern over their experiences in Welsh hospitals.

Mr Jones has criticised Labour MP Ann Clwyd for her attacks on the state of the Welsh NHS.

Mr Miliband has told BBC Sunday Politics Wales that he has spoken to Ann Clwyd and her concerns about the NHS should be taken seriously.

He spoke to BBC Wales political editor Nick Servini.
