Tougher tattoo and piercing hygiene law planned

Tougher controls could be brought in for tattoo parlours and clinics offering cosmetic piercing under the Welsh government's draft public health laws.

Businesses would be required to meet minimum hygiene and infection control standards and be listed on a new register.

Tattooist Justin Oldham said "horror stories" of bad hygiene procedures were damaging to the industry.
