Work starts to protect rare little terns near Prestatyn
Conservationists are warning that changing weather patterns are threatening habitats of seabirds like the little tern.
The birds' only breeding colony in Wales is in Denbighshire but winter storms and high tides have affected the beaches near Prestatyn.
Now a five-year project is under way in a bid to protect the breeding grounds and help the long-term recovery for little terns in Wales.
