Nearly half of Welsh adults have not seen dentist in two years

Nearly half of adults in Wales have not seen a dentist in the past two years, according to the latest statistics.

Opposition parties say more should be done to increase access to NHS dentists but the Welsh government insists there have been real improvements in recent years.

Wales' first and only dental school at Cardiff University has for 50 years had a crucial part to play.

Health correspondent Owain Clarke heard the views of dental student Meilyr Evans, his patient Paul Jones, and the dean of the dental college Prof Mike Lewis.
