Cynon Valley women shortlist row

Who is the best person to represent us in parliament - a man or a woman?

That is the argument raging in the Cynon Valley over who should follow Ann Clwyd as the next Labour candidate when she steps down come the general election.

Labour Party leaders say the shortlists are the best way to get more women into politics while local party members say they've been ignored.
