Measuring devolution: How NE England compares to Wales

We're looking at 15 years since devolution in Wales and the difference it has made to the economy.

BBC Wales economics correspondent Sarah Dickins has been to Durham to see how North East England - which no longer has a regional development board - has fared in the same period.

Professor Fred Robinson, of St Chad's College at Durham University, said the North East had a similar industrial history to Wales but relies on a fractured local government set up and was isolated from power.
