Are 16 and 17 year olds ready to vote?

Three months today, the people of Scotland will decide if the country should become independent.

The referendum will be the first time in the UK that 16 and 17 year olds have been able to vote.

The Welsh government is keen to lower the voting age in Wales too. But are our teenagers ready?

Daniel Davies has been to Ebbw Vale and Motherwell, near Glasgow, to meet a group of teenagers who are part of the BBC's Generation 2014 project.
