Pop tax plan by Plaid Cymru to cut obesity
A 20% tax on fizzy, sugary drinks could help more than 20,000 people in Wales to lose weight, according to research for Plaid Cymru.
The study estimates the tax could raise £45m a year, which the party said it would use to help employ a thousand extra doctors.
BBC Wales political reporter James Williams visits Porth in the Rhondda, a town once famous for its fizzy drinks factory, to test the popularity of the policy.
