Graduating from Patagonia to Lampeter

A Welsh language student has finally graduated after some serious long-distance learning.

Inspired by her grandfather, Ana Chiabrando Rees decided she wanted to do a degree in the Welsh language.

The only problem? She lives in Argentina's Patagonia region - an ancestor of the original Welsh settlers who created a colony there in the 19th Century.

But, as Aled Scourfield reports for BBC Radio Wales, she overcame the obstacles and this week was at University of Wales, Trinity St David in Lampeter to graduate.
