Dylan Thomas's love letters to future wife at auction

Three unpublished early love letters written by Dylan Thomas to his future wife are being sold later.

They date from August 1936, a few months after the writer met Caitlin Macnamara.

He was writing from his parents' house in Cwmdonkin Drive, Swansea, to Caitlin who was living in Hampshire.

Andrew Lycett, a biographer of Dylan Thomas, explained to Oliver Hides, how their relationship had a challenging start as they met when Caitlin was still the muse of painter Augustus John.
