Research project helping to tackle mental health issues
A project uncovering the history of psychiatric intuitions in Wales is helping people with mental health problems come to term with their own issues.
The group has been using the Gwent Archives in Ebbw Vale to see how patients were treated at the former Pen-y-Fal psychiatric hospital near Abergavenny, and how they felt about being there.
Mental health charity Hafal wants similar projects to be available across Wales.
