M4 slip closure at Neath Port Talbot 'long overdue'
An expert has said the controversial twice-a-day closure of a slip road on the M4 is "long overdue".
Former lecturer in economics at Swansea University and an expert in regional policy Dr John Ball told BBC Radio Wales the closure should also be permanent.
Shutting the slip near Neath Port Talbot began on Monday.
Junction 41 of the westbound motorway will close during peak hours on weekdays for an eight-month experiment aimed at reducing congestion from 07:00-09:00 and 16:00-18:00 BST.
