Plaid leader says Wales 'spectator' on funding reform

The leaders of the three main parties at Westminster have signed a pledge to devolve more powers to Scotland, if Scots reject independence.

The pledge, which appears on the front of the Daily Record newspaper, has been signed by David Cameron, Ed Miliband and Nick Clegg.

It commits to preserving the Barnett funding formula - which is what determines how much the Scottish, Welsh, Northern Ireland governments and English departments get from the Treasury.

The Welsh government has said it is £300m less than it should receive.

Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood, who is campaigning for a Yes vote in Scotland, said the First Minister Carwyn Jones has failed to stand up for Wales in terms of getting guarantees over future funding.

She told BBC Wales that Wales had been left a "spectator nation" over reform.

Ms Evans said the pledge was a sign of panic by the "stay together" campaign.
