Reward Wales after Scotland vote, says Rhodri Morgan

Former First Minister Rhodri Morgan says Wales should be rewarded for not putting the UK "through the mincer" of a vote on independence.

It follows the result of the Scottish referendum, in which the people voted by a 55-45 majority to stay in the United Kingdom.

Mr Morgan said Wales should now be "rewarded, not penalised" when powers and funding for the nations are determined.

He told BBC Wales Today's Jamie Owen that he backed his successor Carwyn Jones in calling for a constitutional convention to determine the future shape of powers across the union.
