Anglesey war commemoration projects win lottery cash
Projects on Anglesey commemorating World War One are being been boosted by more than £20,000 of Heritage Lottery Fund grants.
The money will be spent repairing the memorial village clock in Gwalchmai, expanding and revitalising Holyhead's Maritime Museum and on a programme of commemorative events in Beaumaris.
The Reverend Neil Fairlamb, vicar of St Mary and St Nicholas Church in Beaumaris told BBC Radio Wales it was essential to preserve the memory of wartime sacrifice.
