Politicians clashed over Welsh NHS issue

In an ongoing row over the NHS in Wales, a Conservative MP has accused Labour of preventing an independent investigation into the state of the health service.

David Davies, MP for Monmouth, asked Pontypridd AM Mick Antoniw that if he was "so convinced" the NHS in Wales was well run, why had the party not allowed independent investigators OECD examine it.

But Mr Antoniw said the party "fully supported" the investigation and accused the Tories of using the health issue as a "political football" ahead of the general election.

Both men spoke to Oliver Hides.
