Row over Daily Mail's Welsh NHS campaign

A series on the Welsh NHS by the Daily Mail newspaper has been branded "garbage" by a former communications director for the Labour party.

Max Perkins, a former political editor of HTV Wales, told BBC Radio Wales there was also something "pretty fishy" about the paper's claims the health service is in "meltdown", external.

But the newspaper's consultant editor Andrew Pierce said the state of the NHS in Wales was "shocking" and it was doing its job by challenging the Welsh government on the issue.

They spoke to Mai Davies.
