David Cameron 'disappointment' over Murco deal collapse
David Cameron has spoken of his "disappointment" at the collapse of the deal to buy the Murco oil refinery in Pembrokeshire.
Speaking during Prime Minister's Questions, Mr Cameron told MPs the UK government would continue to work with Murco "to find employment opportunities for all those who work there".
American owners Murphy Oil said it had "no choice" but to use the Milford Haven site solely for storage and distribution with "a significant number of redundancies" following the failure of the deal with the Swiss-based Klesch Group.
Mr Cameron was asked by Rutherglen and Hamilton West Labour MP Tom Greatrex to respond to the news of the deal's collapse.
