Prostate cancer robot gets to work at Cardiff hospital

A new robotic surgery suite for prostate cancer patients has started its work at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.

The equipment, which can remove a cancerous prostate through small incisions and is worth £3.5m, is the first of its kind in Wales.

Although the technology already exists in some hospitals in England, Cardiff's robot is the latest model - and only one of six in the world.
