Goldie Lookin Chain's view on the role of politics in music
Politics and pop music have a long and intertwined history - especially here in Wales.
Think back to the 1960s, 70s and 80s when social changes and political upheaval reached the airwaves through the songs of Dafydd Iwan, The Flying Pickets and more recently with the Manic Street Preachers.
But some say that in today's music industry, politics and pop have gone their separate ways - and so have silenced a valuable source of political discussion.
Welsh satirical rap group Goldie Lookin Chain gave BBC's The Wales Report their take on the importance of political music.
The Wales Report is on BBC1 Wales at 22:35 GMT on Wednesday, 26 November.
