Guides mentor recognised with MBE in New Year Honours

Guides leader Judith Ann Walters is among those who have been recognised in the New Year Honours.

The 67-year-old from Lampeter in Ceredigion has been appointed MBE for services to young people.

She has dedicated 42 years of her life to mentoring guides in the mid Wales town.

She said she felt "humbled" and "thrilled" to receive the honour.
