Snow forecast for higher ground in Wales

A yellow "be aware" warning for snow is in place for much of Wales as wintry showers are expected.

The Met Office has issued the warning for snow, hail and ice for every local authority area except Flintshire.

Between 3cm and 6cm of snow could fall with ice patches expected to form on untreated surfaces. The Met Office is warning motorists to be aware of tricky driving conditions.

Coastal areas facing west or southwest are expected to miss most of the snow.

BBC Wales weather presenter Sue Charles has the forecast for Wales.
