Video hope to attract more GPs in Wales

A new recruitment video has been launched to try to promote a more positive image of the work of family doctors in Britain.

The Royal College of GPs has made the film in an effort to attract new medicine graduates to the profession.

They say they want to tackle media stereotypes of general practice as less stimulating and exciting than other medical careers.

A Welsh GP said she hopes the campaign will ease pressure on doctors' practices in Wales.

Dr Rebecca Payne said there is a particular problem in north Wales with GPs getting older and fewer younger doctors taking over.

Here is a taster of the video.
